Custom Powders is a Crewe based company specialising in contract powder processing for the food, animal feed and chemical industry. As a result of growth in our business we are now looking to recruit shift process operators with the capability of progression to Shift Leader Level.

Custom Powders highly value their operators. Work is unique, varied and frequently technically demanding.

Our operators

· Strip, clean and rebuild complex powder processing equipment.

· Run production controlling often complex processes, dispensing materials and operating to precise control parameters.

· Complete detailed process records carry out physical testing on product.

Operators are responsible for almost all aspects of the product quality; this is a responsibility our operators willingly accept.

Honesty, safety, diligence and teamwork is central to the company’s success over 40 years.

We value our employees, we look after them, and we provide extensive training (over 1,000hrs 1 to 1 training) leading to NVQ level 2 and 3 qualifications.

We offer the following:

· Monday to Friday working 8 hour rotating shifts (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am).

· Job includes FLT work.

· Salary £40k/annum increasing through 4 grades based on technical skill.

· Company pension with the company matching your contribution up to 8% of salary.

· 20 increasing to 28 days holiday plus bank holidays per year.

· Extensive training in technical skills to NVQ.

· Job security – many of our operators have been with the company for over 20 years.

· Progression to a supervisory role is also possible for someone displaying the right skills.
