Salary: £160-£220 per day
We are working in partnership with a welcoming and community-focused primary school in Prestwich that is seeking a dedicated KS1/Early Years Teacher to join their team from January 2026.
This school prides itself on fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. Staff work collaboratively to create meaningful experiences that support both academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver creative and engaging lessons aligned with the Primary curriculum
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches to meet individual needs
- Promote positive behaviour through consistent and nurturing strategies
- Contribute to school-wide activities and initiatives
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Demonstrate a passion for KS1/Early Years education
- Have strong behaviour management skills
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Thrive within a collaborative team environment
Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Two professional references relating to children
