Monday to Friday (Days)
7:30am – 3:30pm (40-hour week)
We’re on the lookout for a Vehicle Fitter with strong hands-on experience. If you’ve worked on vehicle, bogie, or rail overhauls involving stripping and rebuilding, this could be a great fit.
Vehicle Fitter Role- Full mechanical fitting experience
- Experience in large fitting environments (coach/vehicle builds)
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics
- Using hand and power tools for cutting, folding, and fitting
- Quality checking builds for alignment and accuracy
- Following Health & Safety procedures and maintaining a safe workspace
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Fitter in a fast-paced or technical environment
- Strong ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Confident using a wide range of hand and power tools
- Problem-solver with a sharp eye for detail
- Experience in vehicle fitting
- Background in Aviation, Military, Marine, or similar sectors is an advantage
- Ability to read basic electrical schematics is a bonus
- Long-term contract
- PAYE: £20.05ph
- Umbrella: £27.34ph
