Adults MASH Social Worker – Wirral

Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for an experienced Adults MASH Social Worker based in Wirral (Birkenhead).

Pay Rates:

  • £36.00 per hour (Umbrella)
  • £28.25 PAYE (excluding holiday)
  • £31.66 PAYE (including holiday)
Location & Hybrid Working:

  • 3 days office-based (Birkenhead)
  • 2 days working from home
Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading and coordinating safeguarding enquiries under the Care Act 2014
  • Triaging new safeguarding concerns as part of the Duty Rota
  • Managing a diverse and complex caseload with autonomy
  • Undertaking strengths-based assessments and developing outcome-focused support plans
  • Completing Mental Capacity Assessments where required
  • Undertaking Making Safeguarding Personal conversations to shape risk planning and outcomes
  • Working collaboratively with health partners, police, care providers, and voluntary organisations
  • Applying legislation, policy, and best practice to protect adults from harm
  • Providing professional advice and guidance to colleagues and partner agencies
Requirements:
  • Qualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered)
  • Strong experience in adult safeguarding or statutory adult services
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
  • Confidence in managing risk and making evidence-based decisions
  • Ability to work flexibly, proactively, and as part of a team
